1. Scope

These terms and conditions govern all orders placed on swissplaques.ch operated by ABC Office ("An ABC Translation LLC company"), Rue de Morges 22, 1023 Crissier, Switzerland. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Products and customisation

All plaques are made to order according to the specifications you enter in the online designer. Because products are personalised, they are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal under Swiss consumer law (CO Art. 40a ff.) unless the product is defective.

3. Prices and VAT

All prices are shown in Swiss Francs (CHF) inclusive of Swiss VAT at 8.1%. A flat shipping fee of CHF 6.00 per order applies. Prices shown in the designer are indicative; the final price is confirmed at checkout.

4. Payment

We accept payment by credit/debit card and TWINT, processed securely by Stripe. For business orders, payment by invoice (QR-bill) is available via the Business page. Payment is due immediately upon order placement.

5. Production and delivery

Orders are produced within 1–2 business days and shipped by Swiss Post (Priority A+). Delivery within Switzerland typically takes 1–2 additional business days. We do not currently ship outside Switzerland.

6. Quality guarantee

All outdoor plaques carry a two-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship under normal outdoor conditions. This does not cover damage from improper installation, vandalism, or extreme weather events.

7. Returns and complaints

Because products are custom-made, we do not accept returns unless the product is defective or does not match your confirmed order. In the event of a defect, please contact order@abc-office.ch within 14 days of receipt with a photo of the issue. We will replace or refund defective items at our discretion.

8. Intellectual property

By submitting text or images for engraving, you confirm that you hold the rights to use that content and that it does not infringe third-party rights. ABC Office accepts no liability for content submitted by customers.

9. Limitation of liability

ABC Office's liability is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Lausanne, Switzerland.
